Track Event London, Ontario

You may have seen my post about the loss of my Friend Mike in October 2010.

This year will be the second year that this event is being heald in Mike's memory. I share with you that are near London the event schedule.

As per BMW London Notice ... qoute

BMW London, along with Germania Autosport, is pleased to support a charity track day for the Canadian Cancer Society. Organized as a memorial for our friend Mike Stearns who was a BMW London Brand ambassador with us for over 4 years. This year the event has been expanded to allow two days of fun on June 16th and 17th. This is an opportunity to experience the thrill of your high-performance car on a non-competitive slalom course.

The track is located at the James T. Field Memorial Airport. The slalom course is 5.1 km in length with two 1000 meter straights. The open design of the airport runway ensures that the track is very safe, with no fences or walls to contend with.

Participants can register for one or both days.

The Stearns Family and BMW London are covering the costs of the event. All participants will receive an income tax receipt for the full cost of registration. There will also be a charity barbecue as part of the event.

For more information and to register, visit the website: www.targabuild.com. This is a number controlled event and we have a limited number of time slots. These slots are filling up very quickly! Last year's track day raised $3000.00 for cancer research. This year, we hope to do even better. Come out and test your BMW or Mini and help us raise money for a wonderful charity.

We hope to see you there!
