Your 335i still looks great Has it held up well x 2007?

I never understood the "no torque" complaint either.

Yeah...I will miss my 335i though. Will never forget seeing it for the first time in 2007 in Munich when I did ED. I never let the dealer to wash it. Car still has no swirl marks, after 50k miles and 5 years. Probably now does..It did suck when BMW changed the software with the updates. Car lost that 1400 rpm instant torque and response. It really felt more powerful before the .29 update (forgot the exact term).
With the M3, the throttle response and the urge to keep reving up and up, is just unbelievable + steering, chassis, suspension, sound. Enhanced premium sound system is incredible. The whole package seems perfect!

Thanks! I ordered bunch of stuff including z-pc to try to get rid of some swirl marks. Hopefully it will work. Do you have experience with the z-pc?

Good point. It likes to be pushed. It is a bit tricky to shift smoothly from 1st to 2nd though. Definitely different than 335. More similar (distantly) to my 3.0 x3 6sp.

lucky for us the 1-2 shift isnt ever used on the track. no need to rush it at any other time really.

That's why I bought the x3. They are rare in 6sp. It's fun. No sunroof either! It feels heavy before 2.5k rpms.

even the new ones with the n55 twin scroll turbo? that would be fun with manual.

I don't think they have manual transmission. Unfortunately...Mine is e83.

Ironically, when I do the 1-2 shift at 8000 rpm it is very smooth! LOL

i usually short shift 1-2 or if i rev it out i skip shift to 3rd.
