I thought the DCT just started to go into development...if the silver one does have DCT then hopefully it will mean it will be available for March delivery.

I agree, those wheels in the spy shots does not do the car justice...whoever designed those wheels should be fired.

What fantastic pictures of this car, great job.

I do truly hope, as others have speculated, that BMW is testing out the M-DCT for delivery to the US as I won't buy the car until that option is available.

In these photographs, I am surprised to see how nice the 18's look in real life with production finish. The previous shots had all shown the disgusting gunmetal or black colors, but the wheels actually look very good in these photos. However, they are still not enough for me to pass up the 19's.

you're not the first to say this. i just got a copy of the latest issue of motor trend and they had an article on M-Division's Garching facility (whose pics were posted in this forum previously).

here's what the writer, who saw all flavors of the M3 (test mules, production-ready, sedan, coupe) had to say:

on the coupe:
"..not as clearly differentiated from the standard car as the outgoing model was from lesser siblings..."

on the sedan:
"The sedan even looks more muscular and visually better balanced than the coupe.. "

the article was pretty darn good so grab a copy if you can..
