So my daughter asks me....

Whilst driving home from the market yesterday I'm saying something about how I found quite a lot of debris in my air intake while changing my air filter, and how 'she' (my car) can breathe easier now. My four year old says "daddy, why is your car a girl?"
This got me to thinking, cause I can't say "cause daddy doesn't ride boys" she's four.
Then I realize, getting to know a new car is like getting to know a new woman. The first time you slide into the driver seat is like that first touch where you realize something amazing could soon take place. Then you grip the wheel just like you take a woman in your arms for the first time, not too tight, but confidently firm. You turn the key, the first kiss. You put it in gear, your intentions become clear. We all know what happens next.

Then theres the eventual lack of attention, followed by the realization that it's time to move on. And the inevitable replacement by a younger model........hope that one doesn't offend the ladies.

Just thought I'd share.

I don't think it's polygamy if there all M's. After all, we all fantasize about twins, or even triplets... You get the idea

Says the E90 owner. For the trunk alone, I'd never consider the E90. I see you had to black it out to hide its hideousness.

Kinda like your woman wearing baggy pants, if you ask me.

I never got the whole naming/gender thing with cars or any other sort of machine.

Had this thought: my car does whatever I tell it, within its ability. Try that with your woman.

Cars are definitely not females. Maybe the closest analogy would be a soldier?

Perhaps if you drove one you wouldn't be seeing so much of it's trunk
