i don't understand how you guys have 20k+ dps lol. im still at 8k on my monk and am having trouble with elite mobs in act 1 inferno.

maybe my build is off, any suggestions on monk specs?

having difficulty on my monk makes me miss my 50 wizard i left off in act 1 hell. anyone have a tank that can run me through and just pick up quests .

i wanna kite and shoot lazeers pew pew!!!

also you what i level is hell whimshire drop?

I'm watching Ted tonight, but I'll be one tomorrow night, farming up some Act 3 Inf on my Barb, mostly to gear up my Wizard, who is currently progressing in Act 1 Inf.
Add me, im Tasty#1324, I can tank pretty much anything for you. You should work on your DPS though, I can take a look at your spec if you want, though you would probably be better off taking a peek at the diablo 3 forums on battlenet and looking at a build there.

I finished all of inferno solo and my stats are sitting at 60k DPS, 600 resist all, and about 35k health (crit spec: 42% chance @ 280% dmg)

I'll run you though with my Wizard, no need to tank with 90K dps and Archon form Add me to your friends list, Syndicate#2743

It's also all gearing for DPS (disregard DH DPS numbers, their Sharpshoot skill over inflates that number). 8K does seem rather low. Make sure all your items have high dex, vit, crit %, and crit damage (some IAS is good). Two 700-800+ dps 1H will work wonders, or a 1000+K dps 2H. Monks are all about stacking Dex and Crit %, this will do 2 things. #1 Add tons of DPS #2 It will also give you a huge Dodge bonus with the right skills. Combine this with a Life on Hit weapon, you should be unstoppable.

Meet me online tonight, I'll run you though and help you out with gearing issues. Farm Act 1 Inferno till your eyes bleed to gear up higher.

Seriously? .... you left me speachless. The game just begins at 60, just like D2, it's all about finding sick loot. Oh and the feeling of accomplishment of downing a boss in Inferno after 2 hours and 100's of deaths is nice too.

Goal is to get the fastest x5 stack + a boss with each run netting 10-15 rares in about 30 min. Post your buffed stats, DH's do not use your Sharpshooter damage, with the build you are using so we can arrange groups.

I run a ****load of CC with no AoE dmg besides grasp. I have splinters for primary, grasp of the dead, hex, spirit walk, wall of zombies, and horrify. It works quite well for me - I don't typically die very much.

Also, I just tried a double tornado crit build. And its, UHMAZING.

Im at 700 all resist, 22k DPS with 36% crit chance, but this is the best part:

I can't beleive you don't have it yet! It's a must have. Dan is almost done with Hell mode. I can't wait to quit SC and start HC with him, time for a real challenge.

Les farm some ponies sometime, I think your CC build aloing with my Wiz tank/stun build would go great together.

And yea its awesome. Im doing it with 850ish LoH, me and my monk friend killed seigebreaker, tanked all his dmg, he melted in like 90 seconds. Before, with my traditional sword+shield tanky spec, we'd run into the enrage everytime.

Lol, I remember that being the reason my buddy stopped playing his D2 barb. Good thing the reflect damage in D3 is easily outpaced by Life on hit.

I also roll with a shield so i dont often die. I can solo all through the butcher but act 2 is damn near impossible.

...should seriously at least finish the game though, maybe level up to 60...
