Question for those whose cars came with the Contisport 3.....

Is the general concensus that these tires really suck with regards to grip (at least in stock sizes)?

Have people changed them out to a different tire in stock sizes and noticed a big difference?

Correct. Most people who have had the Contis wished they had the Michelins.

Mine came with he stock contis and they are by far the worst OEM tire ever...they have no grip! Ill take PS2 or PSS and day over the conti crap

I actually liked the Conti's. Although I like PZero's better and PSS's better yet. I've had all three on a couple of e92's.

I had PS2 on my 09 M3, then upgrade to ZCP w/ PZero, and now I have Conti's on my new M, Conti is by far the worst of the three.

All jokes aside there is a good comparison on tire rack here that compares the

PZeros
Conti 3
PS2

The overwhelming consensus is that the PSS is even better than the PS2 at a lower cost...when its time to replace I will be going with PSS.
