I think your stating the obvious. Anyone with a half a brain already knows this. This board is constantly being sanitized at the request of vendors that got flamed, assuming that posters had the balls to publicly state their dissatisfaction to begin with. The politics here serves the vendors not the customers. It's a flawed platform and will never change. Before your time but the user PencilGeek comes to mind.

Dramatic maybe to those on the outside. But if you'd received some of the bad service and product that I have, you would probably change your tune.

That's very possible. Even the obvious needs to be stated sometimes. At the same time, it should be known that the quality of service from vendors here is lower than the outward appearance would lead you to believe.

Yes, I know of PG as his name comes up til this day still.

Summary of my issue:

Vorsteiner sent me defective wheels in the wrong design and refuse to speak to me about it to resolve the issue.

m3post is drama, rumorville, slandering, he said/ she said for days... it entertains me on the hourly during my work days... that's like 60% of the reason I go on to read and browse since there is very real technical data to gain from forums anymore

That's definitely not right. Just add them to the list!

Not sure if you're making an inference here or not.

I'm glad I can entertain you.

Just to keep what I've done here on a more legit level since there are indeed doubters out there, I didn't come on here after just one or two incidents to "cry" about it. This is after MANY transactions. My itrader alone has 29 transactions currently and that doesn't include all the vendors I've dealt with on here.

nothing @ you, just commenting on how this thread made so many users sound so high school gossipy... that's what entertains me, because I never take things to heart so it's always a good read on here like facebook status updates and tweets #soloentertainment

no personal attack to you at all Matt

Eric @ Supreme Power Parts just resolved this situation for Vorsteiner in 15 minutes. I did not buy the wheels through Eric. Sooner would have been better, but I'll be happy when I have the correct wheels, which I think are a stunning design.

Tech,

I doubt you will be banned for speaking out, that wouldn't be right at all. After all, this section of the forum is for that very purpose. I do understand it would be a bit against you to speak out in a vendors thread in another part of the forum, but this is the vendor comments section.

I don't see any repercussions for you, unless the information you are posting is down right false/slander/libel.

Trust me, I've thought about making this thread for a long time now. If I thought there would be no repercussions, I would have put their names in the first post. It's far to easy for all the bandwagon people to jump on and immediately take sides. Seen it way too many times here already. By keeping my rant more vague in regards to the specific vendors, I can let people know that a shiny wrapped piece of dog crap is still dog crap even if they don't know the exact names. At the end of the day, the only one who will lose here is me. Nothing would happen to the vendors in question and I would just be called a liar and flamed since the tendency here is to be like sheep when the vendor is the shepherd.

At any rate, just making the thread makes me feel a little better and hearing that others have had similar issues at least lets me know I'm not the only one.

I feel you on that. I know it can be tough here sometimes, but try and make it as pleasant for yourself as possible.

Hopefully you aren't wronged again and have found a few you can trust, as that is a very hard thing to do these days.

See you at the next meet man.

Yeah, there are only a couple who have really done me right here.

I was just wronged yesterday now that you ask.

Hope to see you at the OC meet sometime.

I'll stop posting here (great loss I know : P) if you are banned for stating factual information in a professional manner. No point in being part of a community that lacks integrity.

I think most people that get banned step over the line. I, for one, have some pretty strong opinions and have had zero issues with the authorities here. Granted, haven't had to blast any vendors first hand though...

All good. We all have our disagreements on here, I am the first to admit it. I may have even stepped over the line from time to time, who knows. I know that I don't need a crystal ball to tell that if I start spouting out names, I would just receive a fire storm of flames over it.
