Thanks guys for the support. OP said he already used my $1200 toward his new house purchased, so he is stuck with the fund but working on it. Hope to receive my refund soon.

Not here in WA, maybe CA shops have the ability to get it repair. Already drove around and asked several shops, no one is able to fix it here. Even thought its repairable, I heard its expensive.

you should really try to fix it. it should be an easy fix. it is a nice hood as i have one. have him refund you a good amount and find a paint shop. i find it hard to believe nobody can fix that.

Yea, I wish somebody here can fix it. But I tried to ask for local shops near my area, shops here seem to be all afraid on fixing the CF pieces.

Still NO REFUND

No funds because he put it into a new home purchase? Guys acting like he does not have anymore money in the bank or under the mattress for that matter. My point; why would anyone even consider buying this car or a house if they are stretching it to the max to be able to afford it. Shady business.

Not sure if the OP put the insurance on or not. I took 3 hours off work just to helped out btw the OP and Fedex for inspection at my house. Its been several days and still no respond from the OP neither the refund.

I bought a set of wheels from Austin earlier this year. They weren't exactly as advertised (rock chips and burnt rear tires). OP was very communicative during the sales process however. Sorry to see the damaged hood but honestly this should be a fairly easy dispute to resolve through FedEx (insurance) and PayPal ... If you didn't take the proper precautions ... Good luck

Seller said either today or tmw (hopefully), to refund me the money. Fedex seems to agree upon their fault and already refund the seller. Hope the seller refund my money back soon.

Guys, I finally got the refund, but its definitely not from the buyer. I set up the dispute with paypal couple weeks ago. Paypal decided to favor my side and refund me the money. OP never tries to refund me the money at all

I can't tell form the pictures but it looks like it's only the corners that were mildly damaged. Vorsteiner's entire hood, EXCEPT for the vents, is made from Dry Vacuum Woven Plastic and shouldn't be too hard to repair.

I didn't open up the rest bubble wrap soon as I saw the two corners damage. Then I tried three local shops here in WA and no one is able to repair the damage.
