Brand new is 8.8/32 iirc (I haven't checked in a couple weeks but that's what I remember)

A good used RS3 should be at least 8/32
anything less and it's not as much of a good used..just a simple used tire lol

RS3s don't really lose much traction even at lower thread depth, but they won't exactly be rain safe.

I am on my 3rd set of RS3s since October, and have helped my friends with them, so if you have any questions let me know. I love this tire and I know a thing or two about them

What you should watch out for is camber wear rather than thread wear

i'd take an evenly worn 5/32 over a heavily camber worn 7/32.
