2008 E90 w/ Accident History Report

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if I could get some help from you knowledgeable folk. I have been looking to buy a 2008 E90 and found one a few hours from me in south Florida. The dealer is asking $35,000 or the car, which has 47k miles BUT it has an accident history report. Doesn't look like anything major, but it still has one. I was wondering if firstly, is this a good deal on the car and secondly, is the trade-off of buying a car cheap but with an accident history report worth it. Sure, it maybe cheap now, but will it hurt me on the back end when I try to resell the car in the future? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. See the link below for the listing of the car.

2012 E92 M3  [5.00]
I would stay away from this car. The price is right but it's at the expense of a front end accident. Did the air bag go off? Is the frame damaged?

Will it hurt resale? The answer is yes. No one wants a car that has been in an accident.

Take a look at the cars for sale on this site. There are a lot of nice used vehicles for sale here. There is a 2007 M5 for sale now that is to die for. I believe the price is about 37K?

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I've seen that car listed for a while. Personally, I wouldn't buy a car that's been in an accident. If you are patient you can find a similar car for that price that has not been in an accident.

I'd find the extent of the dmg it sustained. But personally I wouldnt be so nervous about the accident as I would with it being such high mileage on a lease.

I looked at an 08 E92 that was in 2 very very minor accidents with 5700 miles on it for $42k. After I had the dealer inspect it, the body shop guy came by who fixed it when it was damaged and said I would be STUPID not to buy it....I bought it. In other words, accidents may not be bad but you can find something with lower mileage for sure.

this price is right but if you really are planning to sell in the future it could def hurt you. it is a beautiful car tho nice choice of color and everything. I mean if you could just ask the dealer more about the accident you never know he could be honest and tell you everything .
