I'm new to the post but, I haven't seen to much said about Dinan
upgrades? I'm just wondering if they are worth the price tag? Or any other recommend upgrades?

Personally, i do not think so. Sure you get piece of mind, but if your modding.. You should know you have to pay to play. Regardless.

There are plenty of other companies who have solid products, for less.

They're good parts. Very well made, good performance, perfect fitment and peace of mind.
I have a lot of Dinan parts in current and past Ms (E46M3, E36M3). But other brands make good products as well so make sure you compare (even though no one can touch Dinan's BMW matching warranty for sure).

That's exactly what I want to do and maybe the exhaust!

I did rear muffler, stage 1 suspension and software first.
And I noticed all 3. But the pulley and intakes, you'll have hard time noticing any changes.
(but for the intake, you can hear aggressive noise if you have a stock filter before).

I had Dinan intake, full exhaust and stage II software before and don't have them anymore.

They make some amazing stuff that is more than worth the price tag. Their suspension and x pipe are my two favorite products

Have all Dinan so can't compare to others but I'm very happy with changes. Day to day in the real world the suspension upgrades add the most to my driving experience. The extra speed is nice but rarely get to use it in New Jersey!

Dinan is not that expensive compared to Akropovic and some others for the M3, not as much of a Dinan tax for the M3 as there is on, say, the 335i where Dinan is about 2X the competition for almost everything.

If you like it, get it! THey make great stuff. Don't pay full retail, they have sales all the time, too.

Upping the turbo engine's output is FUN but of course it HAS to increase strain and problems with engine so Dinan is effectively charging their repair risk up front IMO.

I just put on the Stage II suspension. Its OK...but I can keep my warranty since Dinan picks up the tab for any potential suspension issues. You're smoking crack if you think I'd pay $1200 for springs without a warranty.

IMO, Dinan isn't worth it unless you put the part on have drive with it under warranty. Although I will say their fit and finish is better than most other brands. Really it all comes down to what you are buying. The suspension (any stage) is flat out overpriced. The only reason I have it is I got an unused Stage I for less than half of retail....because no one wanted to pay more then $300 for what are essentially lowering springs to most. Although you will learn to appreciate the subtle nuances of the kit...some of which are copied. Like shaving down the front strut mounts.

I think the exhaust and software are excellent products and good deals. Especially the software since the dealer won't necessarily frown up it. The throttle bodies are a unique product as well.

I sold my e46 with extensive mods (good ones) below market value for a stock car. I didn't want to put all the stock parts back on to get a few more dollars. My current car has enough Dinan mods to qualify it as a Dinan M3. When I eventually go to sell it, I'll actually get a premium over stock. It won't reclaim my cost in mods but won't be as bad as when I sold the e46. Plus the current car doesn't sound like I've got a bag of nickels banging around under the car, and it rides decently.

So if you didn't get a premium on the e46 with mods, what makes you think that you will get a premium on the new one? Have you seen cars that have the dinan badge sell for more than a regular stock m3 ?

Just curious if you or anyone has this info...

Cheers

Dinan cars do sell for a premium among enthusiasts because of the link with BMW. Kind of like Alpina cars. At a minimum, I don't think Dinan mods hurt resale values or turn away potential buyers like some other mods would.

FYI, there was an e46 M3 for sale at a local BMW dealership, that had extensive upgrades from Dinan. The car was sold over retail BBK, and it didn't last a day. Goes to show you .
