Clear Bra Cleaning

What is the best product to clean a Clear Bra (on a car...)? I have washed/clayed/polished/waxed it and it still doesn't shine and there are some spots that still aren't coming out. My car is not show car quality, but I was curious if there are specific cleaners for clear bras or if I should use a more abrasive pad when polishing...

On a side note, what is the downside to taking OFF a clear bra? I bought the car with it on and whoever installed it di a very crappy job. I don't know how long it has been on...

clear bra's have a limited useful life. depending on how well it was maintained, it may need to be replaced... especially if it's starting to turn yellow, it's something you can't clean.

Try 1Z's deep plastic cleaner, it works incredible on the clear bra (I've used on venture shield and 3M material). I finish it with Plexus.

I just use Meguiars nano spray wax. It works the best. Dont use caranuba paste wax, it makes it cloudy.

Luckily it isn't turning yellow. Definitely peeling in a few places and and the wrapping job terribly (still does the job though, especially on the track).

Thanks for the suggestions

if you have some fine scuffs or items sticking onto the film, you can try diluted alcohol. test it on some area first and have a spray bottle to wipe it down quickly.

peeling film can't be repaired.

when using polish, never rub the film as that'll create a haze and scuff the film.
