Options for OEM replacement rotors

I will need to replace my pads soon so I'm looking to possibly replace the rotors at the same time. Are there any aftermarket rotor replacements available that are compatible with the OEM caliper. I noticed the OEM rotor is a semi-floating 2-piece design so I'm having difficulty finding something similar without going to a BBK.

There aren't any aftermarket rotor options out there... and if there were, they cost the same anyway.

Not really looking at cost but maybe something that is a true 2-piece design so in the future, only the rotor rings need to be replaced and the hats can be reused.

The OEM rotors are very well designed. I would stick with them unless you were prepared to spend more for true 2-piece rotors. But since they aren't available, you'd have to start approaching companies about developing some to offer to the community.

Performance Friction makes a direct replacement, 2-piece rotor. Bimmerworld sells it, and the cost isn't that much higher than an OEM rotor.

The OEM rotor is $350 each.. the PF is $550 each. The replacement PF rings are $340 each.

I'll hold out until someome makes a less expensive rotor or a 2 piece that costs about the same.
