E9x Jack Pad/Adapter

OK, so I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything. I take it by the design of the jacking spots that there is some sort of adapter to put between the jack and the chassis, but I cannot find one specific for the E9x. I found one for E46 chassis cars, but it doesn't quite look right.

Ah, I think I found what I need: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-M3-...Jack/ES251251/

Thanks guys.

PS - I can't see doing that to a hockey puck, especially now during NHL playoffs (GO PENS!).

I got a jack pad adapter from http://www.reverselogic.us/ReverseLo.../Products.html

The price may be a bit more, but he includes free priority mail shipping. Works great.

I have both and recommend the ones from Reverse logic (posted above).

The fit is better than the ones from ECS and they have little rubber nibs on the ends which hold them inside the jack point.

Are you referring to this?
BMW Jack Pad With ECS Adapter Kit
If I haven't broken anything, do I need that whole kit, or just this?
BMW Jack Pad Adapter
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but I have yet to take delivery of my car, so I can't just look at it. And as soon as I get it, I'm going to need to swap wheels.

I have been traumatized by the stupid pinch welds on my Audi and want to avoid similar mistakes on my M3.

You would just need the second item.

Thanks!

I'm seriously considering these, instead:
Reverse Logic Limited: Jack Pad Tools for BMW
It seems the rubber nibs that hold them in place will make them much easier to use.

This also looks handy, if you're still using lug bolts:
Reverse Logic Limited: Lug Bolt Guide Tools

Yup that's what I got. You don't need the entire kit because they come mounted standard.

FWIW, I have the ECS jack adapters, but just recently made the upgrade to the hockey puck. I have a full scissor lift and it was a bit of a pain to get the 4 adapters positioned properly when raising the lift. Hockey pucks worked perfectly and are super cheap.
