"The Edge" on Velocity

Just came across an interesting series on Velocity Channel called "The Edge" that chronicles the 2010 season of the GrandAm road racing series. It's worth a look--kind of reminds me of those NFL Films where they have slo-mo breakdowns and analyses of past games and seasons featuring that announcer's voice: "It was a brutally cold day in Green Bay as the visiting Bears of Chicago took to the gridiron..."

It gives some insight and behind-the-scenes looks into the series. Kind of fun.

Yep, there are several episodes, it is a very well done series. I've re-watched some of them many times.

Phew...I was worried it was a series on a weakly talented guitarist playing in an over-hyped-under-talented-self-absorbed Irish rock band catering to the emotional angst of teenage girls!

I am not a U2 fan.

So, given the choice of having dinner and stimulating conversation with Bono and the boys or with famed rolled-sock-in-the-trousers, lady-killing, Welsh singer Tom Jones, you would prefer to dine with Mr. Jones?
