Talking Best ECU? Headers/Pulley, yes or no?

Still kind of new to this so bare with me... I have 3 Q's

1- Just bought a tecnocraft envy intake system - yet to be installed- holding back till I find the best ECU that would go with it and my Arqray (Catback) exhaust, any suggestions?

2- The OEM headers are a masterpiece and I don't think that they should be changed but I've been advised otherwise, would i still get the most of my intake/exhaust/ECU if I keep them on?

3- Is upgrading the pulley with all these changes a good idea?

1) I have BPM so I obviously would recommend them. There are others such as Evolve, ESS, Gintani, etc which are reputable as well. You will not get a 1 is better than the other here. Note if you are going to keep your cats, that would be a Stage 1 tune which may not be worth the money. I would delete your primary cats and get a stage 2 tune which makes much better use of your money.

2) Don't know much about the headers on these cars other than they are pretty good stock. You don't hear of too many people changing them (even on the higher HP cars here)

3) If you are in a super hot environment or track your car a lot, I wouldn't do the pulley as you risk running higher temps. If you don't do those, then the pulley is fine. I have a pulley and I only see high temps when tracking (which I monitor closely) during >90 degree weather.

I have the Turner Motorsport pulleys and tune and I'm happy with it, haven't seen any side effects as of yet

I like BPM as well for tunes but Evolve has a good following on here as well. If you are going to do a tune get a set of test pipes or aftermarket xpipe and call it a day.

The stock headers are quite good - you could get an aftermarket set, but it's probably not worth the gain for the price.

If you're not going to be tracking the car in hot temperatures, a pulley is not a bad idea. We also have software for those with a pulley to address the steering being too tight at low speeds caused by underdriving the power steering pump.

Our tuning information sheet is linked in my signature. Good luck with the mods you decide to go with!

Thanks all for the input, it helped a lot!!
So I'll stick to no headers and I do live in a really hot are so I guess I won't be going for the pulley. Im looking through different test pipes, x pipes, and tunes will update you guys with pics in a new post when it's all over.
As for the tune looks like it's going to be ESS, BPM, or Evolve
