Awesome! I saw this in progress at VAC and it was a sorry sight before they fixed it up.
Just look at those Nitron NTR 3-ways! ![]()

Nice build VAC. Did you do the cage out of mild steel or cro-moly? Also, curious how you reinforced the cage mounting points in the chassis - pretty standard?
Planning on any bias adjustment at the master cylinder for brakes - or is it even needed with the Brembo kit? Assuming engine, fuel supply and oiling are all stock - plans for any mods there? Might be a good one to go dry sump on.... Sounds fan-damn-tastic!! Nothing like a well tuned, high reving V8 exhaust note - would love to hear it on the track. When I was involved with a Grand Am team the only V8s were the Mustangs and they were pretty blah for an exhaust sound. Our friend's gig ended just as the first E9x M3s with Turner, Automatic and the others were being tested, heard a few of them that year, far and away the best sounding cars on the track at the time. Still are IMO. Sure would like to know a rough ball park idea of cost from the time it rolled into your shop to when it hit the track, for reference. Looks like a real fun build, no corner cutting. Looks good too - I hate U of M but if you are a fan, it's right up your alley...
