So who's got "MINT" wheels? That's gotta be pretty rare unless your car is brand new. I can honestly say that mine are mint with 19K miles on the clock.

But yes, don't list them as "mint" if they're not mint. Typically a "mint" anything is something that hasn't really been used. I would go with "like new, with the exception of this 5" wretched curb scar"

Funny thing is I'm not even looking for wheels. I just look at the FS section regularly and this is one of those things..

I said it was useless at the beginning, but you're right. Beers are in order, and I've never been to IND! Let me know when you're in town.

You know what irks me? Questions that have answers that affirm the painfully obvious. A customer called me in the middle of the day and when I answered : "Hello thank you for calling so and so, how can I help you?" I was asked, "Hi, are you open?"

Who on earth would buy this pile? Well I was thinking a mechanic, someone who is auto savvy or just someone who knows what they are doing, and could maybe turn it into a decent car at a ridiculous price.

2002 Volvo S40 1.9L Turbo
86k miles on the engine (not sure how they got there though, it never ran)
Cloth Interior
Scratches, dents, bumps.. yep it has those also, but NO RUST.
Practically new M&S tires
New Timing Belt
SOMEHOW passed two year inspection back in Nov 2011, but completely irrelevant now.

What "irkes" me is when people refer to window tint as tints, or when someone says they are going to "pull the trigger" on something. Unless you are referring to a firearm how are you pulling a trigger. Maybe they load cash into a handgun and shoot it at the vendor. I can't even figure out how that saying even came about.

In the end, if this is my biggest "problem" I guess I am doing OK.

As long as venting seems to be tolerated here without flaming, let me just throw this out there as something that irks me.

People that list their used items with $xxx OBO.

You make an offer and get a response with a snipy attitude as if they were offended.
WTF? It's OBO!
If you want a set dollar amount, say that upfront and state price is firm. Otherwise stuff the attitude and respond respectfully.

BTW, don't bring that "oh but low-ball offers deserve this or that...." argument.
If the price is firm, say so, don't include OBO if you're gonna get all butt hurt when someone makes an offer you invited.

OK. Off the soap box now. Feels better.
