The valves achieve what a regular system does not, great as daily drive, quiet and subtle sound on light acceleration and great idle tone. Give it some revs and it transforms into a monster with the best sounding traditional V8 tone, either with valves open or closed. The ceramic coating also makes the system look really tough and was the ideal color choice for my car. It's hard to get a good and accurate results with audio, but these are reasonably close. |

I'm shocked you traded the akra evo for this setup. From my personal experience, the quality of this system over time is terrible. My xpipe has just recently cracked in 5 different locations after 1 year of owning it. Furthermore, after rewelding the pipe we inspected it a week later and found a new crack up on the xpipe where it meets the header. Seems like the thing is falling apart, I'm going to replace with a challenge race xpipe soon.

I'm with Ricky on this one. My xpipe also has a small crack in it after about 1 1/2 years of use and 10kmiles on it. My car never see's rain or snow so its always dry

Hi Guys,
I'm sad to here you've had a problem with one of our products. We have sold hundreds of these systems starting from 2008 and have not had a complaint about any cracking from welds. Our systems are fully tig welded and we use the highest quality US 304 stainless steel, We also purge all of our pipes while assembling to get the highest strength & durability. We back our welds a 100% that is why we offer life time warranty to original owners on any cracking of welds and two year warranty on muffler's. If there is anyway we could help you with your issue involving one of our products please contact us and let us know don't leave us in the dark we like to know about any problems with our product so we can resolve it and always make it better if needed. P.S Just a heads up since both of your cars are supercharged i would pay attention to exhaust temps especially with these cars having 02 sensor issues they tend to get Fairly high temps which can cause some issues with cracking. Please do not take this information the wrong way just some stuff we have noticed with these cars it has nothing to do with which companies S/C system you are running...... Regards Gintani Team |
