no, I dont use my heal on the brake. THe ball of my foot is on the brake. I use my heal on the gas instead of rolling the side of my foot.

i think if the pads are new, the pedal doesn't travel as much but once they're worn in i find myself hitting the accelerator with the side of my foot when braking a bit harder on regular street driving.
