Hey guys, I wanted to know if anyone was willing or wanting to do a trade?
I own a 2010 Mitsubishi Evolution X with 17k miles on it!
I started off @ just bolt-Ons, springs, Tune.... Then I hit the Roadcourse...
now I'm sitting on a fully built 2.0L, FP Black Turbo, Shep built transmission/T-Case and well 35k worth of parts, most with 2k miles on them.. The Evo is mint and just waiting on getting tuned.. got back to Canada with the shep trans/t-case and Ivey Tune Engine.. but now its time to make some real power
should be an easy 500+WHP on 94 and 600+whp on Mark5 114.. Its a quick spooling turbo and will be unreal on the track, last summer @ TMP lapping day I did a 1:21 in traffic and that was when I was 400whp and stock block, and Im an avarage driver.. with a really good driver and my set up now Im sure it will be pulling in low #'s

Reason for trade.. Im getting married in july and with my new job location I will be driving over an hr just to get to work.. and I sold my DD to afford down payments on my wedding!
I pushed for something nice and thank got the wife2B said yes

So my options. after my tune April 17th list it for sale and look for a M3 with in my price range

or

Trade with some one that would like a toy like an evo

Im looking for a 2008-2010 e92M3 AW DCT or 6speed under 30,000km

Ya after a lap that's what happens with most evos with a fuel pump, injectors and a test pipe

haha yea i was actually cross shopping the evo with the g37 as my first car, but I ended up going with the g, now I'm going into a m3!

I had an Evo X GSR, great car for track days. I got real tired of driving it every day though. It's loud, uncomfortable and everyone and their mom wants to race you.

What was done to yours? with my Turbo back exhaust, its loud for sure, the nice part is you can really hear my turbo spooling even when your @ a stop and rev it a bit.. also sounds mean as hell with the cams I have in it... but it is very loud for sure! Unreal track car.. I have taken it 5-6 times to the track and it was amazing!
You really think its uncomfortable? I love the Recaros, I drove 8hrs straight in the evo and felt fine, I usually cant stand driving in a car for more then 2hrs as my back always kills, but I really thought the Recaros feel great!
also as for the every one wants to race you... your 100% right there!! I just got home from work and I had a dodge Ram hemi up my ass and trying to line me up... Im not for street racing one bit! let him think my 600whp car is slow I dont care hahah

thank you thank you! i went with space gray, carbon leather, black novillo extended leather, premium package, cold weather package, competition package, enhanced premium sound, bmw apps, and automatic high beams!

We have a sister forum - e90post. I suggest you check out the 328s and 335is unless you plan on adding cash on top (10k+) - i can't imagine a straight trade for this car.

How reliable are these cars anyways? Does your car work? You say its not tuned.

yep depending on the car would be plus cash!

I was saying the car is tuned but not as good as it should be.. Im pickey and had a few known tuners look over my tune! Im having a really well known tuner come to canada to tune my car!

haha at first i had a order for white, but i changed it to space gray right before it went into production. my current car is black, and i swore to myself that ill never ever get black in my life time! also don't settle for anything less then an m3, i promise you'll regret it!

I would never,, My buddy is a huge BMW fan and owned a 335i and sold it for a Evo X.. he said the 335i was a pos and hated it.. he Loves the evo, he compared it to his 06 STi and 08 335i..
I had a few bolt ons and Tune when he has the 335i and I passed him like he was stopped.. he only had drop in filters and DP's with a mild tune..

I dont think I would ever buy a 335i.. and you cant really compare them to the M3 a totally diffrent car.. but again trading my fully built 600whp Evo for a 335i... No thank you

I am a big Evo fan. I owned an 05 Evo 8 and an 08 Evo X. As for the Evo X, I had Ohlins DFV coilovers, upgraded the brakes and a tune. That was it. Still way too loud for me. Cruising at 80mph on the highway there is a ton of road and engine noise. The seats were great for short trips... They do not have any lumbar support so on long trips it really hurt. The Evo 8 seats were a lot better in that aspect.

You might be better off selling your car or parting it out. It is pretty hard to sell a modified car unless it is exactly what the buyers want. Aftermarket parts do not add value to the car.

haha evo's are beasts... id get one over a sti anyday! couple monthes ago, i was actually about to trade in my g37 for a evo 10 gsr, but i just decided to ride a little more and upgrade! hope you find a m3 you like!

You'll find an m3 slow and numb after driving an Evo. That had been my experience after coming out of a 400whp 350z.

That is true, but at least you won't feel like you are 21-years old all the time when you're behind the wheel.

As a young professional, pulling up in a modded car, slammed to the ground with a crazy exhaust isn't good for business. LOL

I think Im going to miss it, and your 100% right.. its hard as hell to sell a modded car.. here in Canada new Evos are 55k I think I would sell mine with the 35k in parts for close to 50.. a really good deal for some one who wants a Evo and wants a track/road beast.. that will be a small amount of people willing :S Parting would be a pain in the ass.. and would take for ever to sell everything quick enough

hell ya!! A lot of ex STi owners come to the dark side and love the Evos!! I like both cars but would take the Evo over an Sti any day!!

This is how I feel! So many ppl want to line me up and V8 muscle cars think its a little slow rice rocket... kinda right other then slow.. lined up a brand new Camaro SS and made it look like it was stopped... the next light he had a huge smile and said HOLY SH!t that thing goes, Crazy how quick you can make thos little 2L's LOL

But your right, Im 27yrs old and I want something a little classy!! Ill forget abut the power of the Evo and suck it up!

Im sure the first person thats interested, and drives this beast will want it bad! I just hope after the tune I dont fall in love again lol
will be 500+whp on pump and 600+ on race fuel and a lot of TQ

Well all I'm saying is new this car is what 45k where as an M3 is 70k - it would be only fair to compare it to an equally priced 335/328 if you were looking to trade 1:1 that is all.

A modded car is also worth much much less.
