Sometimes I park my car in a small garage and fold the mirror on the way out, and when i get out i forget to open the mirror. I was surprised it opens by itself once you drive 10+mph!
Really? Another thing I did not know. I'm going to try this!

Hm, I wonder if the dimension of the E90 trunk is smaller than the E92's. I put it in diagonally with the head of the clubs going in first to the far passenger side corner. Then, the base of the golf bag goes in far driver's side corner without a hitch. I fit 3 golf bags in this way. Mine's a full size stand bag, the other two were thinner stand bags.

Dagolfpro, those Titleist staff bags are humongous. I'm amazed that it fit.

I discovered by accident that if you move your driver's seat(to clean or what not) and later when you open the door, the seat will move to your memory position 1 automatically. I have CA.

Oh man, you got ballz! I can never pull off anything like that. I guess the trick is to act like you belong.

7 iron is my favorite club.

I didn't know they were driven by some douches. Met my first douche bag today, who asked me to join his ZCP exclusive club. So I turned around and walked away.

There is an area under the front passenger seat that looks like is meant to store something maybe like a CD storage bag.

Lol!!! Had mind for 2 months here and was only couple days ago when I was giving my coworker a lift to drop off his Honda for service, he discovered that tilt-out access!! I have always thought damn that's a nice long pocket but so opening so tight I can't even fit anything through! Now it's the coolest little feature I've seen in any doorside storage!

We were driving on a familiar freeway and as my wife makes a comment how nice the suspension is, I immediately push the EDC button twice as I see a bump coming. She know what I did and gives me a quick punch on my arm.

I was also looking at e46 m3s before but every time I test drive one I could not deal with the suspensions stiffness. Now we have the ability to adjust.

Not sure on your model car, but on the E93, these are brackets for the European-mandated First Aid kits. For European Delivery vehicles, this is included, and is [usually] shipped with the vehicle to the USA for redelivery -- or, in my case, I brought it back in my luggage just to be sure it arrived.

Correct, us e90 crew have no pull out bin. Also no need for seatbelt caddy because the door isn't 11 feet long putting the belt in the back seat.

I was trying to find something in the trunk while my garage light was off and I could not see anything. I just realize there is no light at all in the trunk. All my previous cars had some sort of illumination or is mine just busted?

3. I had hear horror stories about iDrive through the years, but it is surprisingly easy to operate.

4. The M wheels are no less a PITA to clean than the M135s on my E46 ZHP.

5. The auto-store buttons to set commonly used functions on iDrive are incredibly useful. I programmed number 1 to turn off the map, and number two to turn on the map/split screen entertainment, and number 3 to call Mrs. Llando88. Very useful indeed.

6. The autoseatbelt handover is pretty cool.

7. Those brake duct inlets in the front valence are pretty large.

8. The rumble of the S65 is a joy to hear. I’m not sure the car has a stereo as I have yet to turn it on.

9. So far the car is returning 17.8 mpg on my commute. I need to get out of grandmother mode at some point, clearly.

10. The M3 goes considerably faster than expected north of 4,000 RPM. Considerably. Faster.

Love it love it love it.

This makes sense now because I can't possibly be getting the exact same gas mileage for almost a year now

Lame that it doesn't auto adjust

I ask since no one above mentioned it so far ...

So adding to the list of the OP ....

14. Tools are (including your special wheel lock socket) in the RH tray once you open the trunk (some tools are missing). BTW good place to store your manual is above the tool tray ... then you all knew this yes Should you hear rattles from the trunk chances are your tools make the noise. I wrap mine in paper towels.

15. Under the false trunk bottom you find your BMW Mobility Kit (tire inflation kit). Its a good idea to take it out and familiarize yourself with the operation so that you can help yourself if the need ever arises.

Things you may not find in your M3 unless you take them along are;

Flashlight, Tire Pressure Gauge, Reflective Warning Triangle, First Ait Kit and a Blanket.

(I still have to get a litre of oil and at least one fuse of each type for long trips)

A sudden flat or low pressure warning miles away from nowhere my get you to the next town if you can add some air yourself. The blanket might keep you warm while you wait for Roadside Assistance, or to cover some one that just had an accident and is in shock shaking. The Triangle might save you from being rear ended if you have no power at all and are in the dark. The first aid kit may come in handy (one never knows does one).

Since I like to keep my car clean I also carry a car wash kit on long trips. I got one from a customer as a parting gift it is well equipped.

Anyway, those are a few things you will not find in your M3 unless you take them along on long road trips I thought I mention them anyway.

Cheers now and happy trails to one and all

Rolf
