The GT2 definitely missed a gear. Probably 3rd as the gears run unbelievably long.

Makes you realize how much grunt it has in stock form when you see how it came back after the miss

Love the DCT compared to GT manual box.

Wasn't toying with him. It's all in the gearing.

The Porsche would shoot out ahead under full boost, then shift and fall back as the M3 would stay in gear.

Then the M3 would shift and the GT2 would be back in full boost and pull back ahead.

haha! I take that as he was toying with the m3, cared less if it's supercharged or not because he knows what he's driving!

At 0:42 the GT2 shifts, then hits full boost at 0:44 and puts a nice gain on the M3.

He didn't fall back like at 0:34 though... so I'm guessing faster shift.

I have both cars.

The GT2 doesn't drop boost when shifting unless you like 85 years old and your false leg slips off the clutch or you accidentally select 5th instead of third or 6th instead of 4th

If you snap change the boost stays right up, it may drop very slightly. Its 1,4 bar at max
