Do all the coilovers for the e9x m3 really only drop the car 1.5" at max?

Maybe i have misinformation, but from what i read most coilovers seem to be around the 1.5" drop range. Springs only seem to be anywhere from .6"-1.2".

Which coilovers go the lowest?

One set i haven't found much info on is the H&R coilovers

Ive read the KW v3s only drop it about 1.5" max which i find hard to believe since i had the v2's on my e46 m3 and those things must have given me a 3-4" drop!

The amount of drop is different on every car... 3" drop on the E90/92 M3 means you probably can't even drive it. If that is what you want, you need airbags.

No, definitely don't want a 3 inch drop! I've learned my lesson with my last m3 like i said. Really wore everything out on the suspension very fast. Couldnt even turn the wheel without rubbing.

Its just a surprize to me that the drop difference from throwing a set of springs vs coilovers on are nearly identical.

Does anyone know the max drop on the H&R coilover setup?

Any pictures would be helpful...
