Haha - this is just a temporary measure so my girlfriend can pass her driving test BEFORE it's delivered - honest to God...

I too would love to see the engine weights compared. Pushrod/non OHC engines are typically a lot lighter than bulky twin OHC engines (Vette). However I doubt the C63 motor is lighter than the M3 in a apples to apples comparision.

According to Manufactures own standards:

M3 = 202 kg
C63 = 199 kg

According to a Dutch car magazine "Autovisie" who talked with BMW people;

Nordschleife E92 M3 average speed; 156 km/h
Track 20,8 km

This means a track time off 8.00 minutes.......................................

Go to the M3 Flash applet and explore the M3. Under Performance and then Nordscliefe, the official time for the M3 is 8:12 on standard tires.
Yeah, BMW also says the official 0-60 time is 4.8 seconds, we all know it's faster than that.

Nothing has changed. There is no official time.
Believe me, if there was, you wouldn't even need to ask this question.
