Suspension install in San Antonio

I'm trying to find out if there is any good/reliable shops that will install some Eibachs and spacers in San Antonio? The dealership will probably charge me an arm and a leg.

Not in San Antonio but I would be glad to help if you decide to come down to Houston!

Do you perform alignment as well?

Thanks...

Check out Eurasian.

They were recommended on a previous thread but had already dropped the X5 at a different shop.

Keep us posted who you go with and your experience. There's a handful of SA members, myself included, that could use the info.

Cheers.

Berts Motor Works is installing coilovers on my E92 M3, although not necessarily in the performance business they have done all my upgrades on previous Mcars without a hitch, if it makes you feel better by going to a performance shop then I recommend these guys; http://www.dbcperformance.com/default.asp

Have been to eurasian for maintenance but I wouldn't really consider them in the tuning/performance business. Javistor, do you have first-hand experience with dbc? I took my Audi to a place up on Tradesman called Prestige Tuning owned by this guy Mark Williamson. Absolute scammer! See story here:

http://www.kens5.com/news/consumer/e...111325409.html

You can see my old Audi up on the lift in the background of one of the clips. Charged me for axle and CV repair that he never did. Tried to take him to small claims court but he "went out of business". Only reason I ask is because dbc is literally down the street and if this guy Mark Williamson decided to take up residence there I would stay away.

DBC is located were Prestige used to be on Tradesman. I believe Prestige moved from that location across the street on the access road and then went out of business. I've heard good things about DBC but I do believe Mark works for them, not sure what to tell you since Bert has always taken care of my cars. Maybe I was too quick to recommend but I can't say anything negative about DBC. Totally understand the way you feel, my reaction would've been much worse...

Interesting. Maybe I'll have to pay Mark a little "visit" sometime. On another note, looks like we've got a fair number of M3 owners here in SA. We should plan some sort of gathering. Thoughts?

Don't know if you got this done yet but we have a group of M3s guys that meet up monthtly for DIY session. We hang out on M3f in the SW section. That can be easily done.

FYI, Mark W. works at DBC now. So take your chance when you use DBC. For shop, you can use Soulspeed located at Harrishill track. He can do corner balance, allignment. I trust them to do a quality job but with DBC I only used them once and Mark worked on my car. A 4 wheels allignment took 5 hours and my strut towers look like sh*t afterward.

Definitely want to check out a meet but currently deployed. Hopefully when I get back. Now that it's out of warranty, definitely want to start some modding.

See my post above. Mark Williamson CHARGED ME FOR WORK HE NEVER DID and his lazy ass ended on on KENS-5 for scamming others. The phrase, "Special place in hell..." comes to mind. Take your prized BMW to him at your own risk.

Soul Speed might be an option. Colin moved to Harris Hill in San Marcos. It is a bit of a ride but he does good work and is very reasonable on labor. His labor charges are so low I kind of feel guilty some times.

Very honest and good person as well.
