I can confirm the DDM ones don't fit right either. I bought some before I actually received my car, which arrived this week, couldn't get them to fit right, fortunately DDM is in San Diego so I was able to return them in person. Too bad because DDM has the best reflector by far, finer prism like OEM, but just didn't work. I like the idea of clear reflector but don't really like the bigger prism pattern of Depo brand, guess I might have to go painted after all.

Clear v. Painted - MW

I met up with Persian54 and we compared our reflectors on MW. See below for head-to-head comparison:

I think mine is better . Looks more likely to be OEM. If you are not used to it, unlike most of us on the forum, I think the painted reflector on MW looks out of place.

Thanks again Persian54 for showing me your sweet ride, and letting me hear the Akra Evo. I am sold on that exhaust. And I now doubt my 6MT purchase

I would suggest smoked reflectors to replace your clears since it'll match your headlight housings. Just a thought though.

Just a heads up... My DEPO clear reflectors on my MW E92 are now stricken with condensation (maybe a month old). Anyone else have these issues?? Makes a great car look cheap!

I am considering buying the reflectors from DDM Tuning to fix this.

I had clears on my 328i and they looked just ok. They wouldn't stick and stay in place for sh!t. For some reason the clears look awful on the M3. I actually think the orange looks better. IMHO.

Stick to your guns corrado79. I still like the clear on your car. Until they yellow or get water in them or don't do any of the former. I'd leave them on. I'm with you I'm not a fan of the painted ones. On my MCB, I don't think clear would work. So I'll just leave the OEM on there. I'm not sure smoked would cut it either.

Front reflector option

Far less expensive is to get a good body shop to fill in the reflector holes and paint the whole front valance. Mine was done a year ago and looks as good as Euro.

I agree. I still have yellow ones on my AW, but was looking at going with the clear instead of the painted. The painted ones, to me, look like you're trying to cover something up.

I have the painted one on the AW; and the match is debatable; i gone thru various pics of AW's on the forum and ; I think your setup is unique... I like that your being different that the rest... anything but amber is where it's at.. @ $15 i might just get a pair...

+ $13.50 shipping... Jerks.

Wish the ones from DDM didn't have fitment issues. I want a good clear option for my SSII.

I had the DEPO's on my E90M3 and within a year they began to yellow. Otherwise, I think the clear look better than painted IMO. Just too bad there aren't any quality ones out there...

I really hate the painted reflectors on AW - looks like patches. IMO

I have tried the Depo and DDM. The Depo fit OK, but yellow and leak. The DDM are the best OEM prism match, but fit like crap.

I would pay someone $100 for clear reflectors that fit like Depo and looked like DDM.
