Fuck it. I bought it. I'm a fanboy. I have an iMac, an iPhone 4S, a MBP and an iPad 2 which I just sold to a buddy at work for 300 bucks. I'll transfer all my shit over when my new one comes in and I'll love it. I have 20-15 vision but the 40+ club made me buy readers to minimize eye fatigue. Trust me when I tell you the new screen will be far better when "Zooming" in. And screw all of you who who hate on me because your *whatever* product is better than mine It's my money and I'll do what I please with it!

Apple denied by Adobe. or whatever. Apple is like a rich kid who is getting bullied from anyone, a.k.a Social Outcast. Everyone hates him. but he has everything cause he is so rich.

Apple is lucky enough to have enough innovative technology to stay ahead with their own shit, but that is matter of time.
With Google joining Samsung's side, Apple is scared. They offered shake of hands to Samsung and Google.
Apple vs World is not gonna work. Sony is a good example. Poor poor Sony. They thought they were invincible.
Thus, iPad will be a piece of junk soon.

By the way, I just got my shipment e-mail from Apple. 4 days left. I can't wait!!

Pre-Ordered mine the day it was released. I have an iPad1, which is beginning to lag, A LOT, so the upgrade was needed. Can't wait to get it.

It's a very worthy upgrade if you rely on 3G to connect. I get shit speed on 3G on the train, however 4G is over 20mbps and my entire area is covered. It's also a nice perk that the screen is much more crisp. Those were my only complaints on my 2 so this is actually now the perfect device for my needs.

How often do you see iPhone 4 users switching to iPhone 4S? Not as much. Apple is obviously playing smart and this is a change is mainly meant to be for iPad 1 users. Cycle went, and they need upgrade. Many 3GS users at least waited for 4S with Siri, while 3G users switched to 4 right away. It is a marketing strategy. Apple has been doing this "replace it with apple again" thing for years now. Nothing surprising.

Though, I wouldn't call iPad 3rd gen a small nor major upgrade. Retina and 4G itself is let alone worth the upgrade if you sell your iPad 2 and pay few more for iPad 3. Giving away the iPad 2 to your cousin and buying a new one is stupid.

The way I look at it, after the initial purchase, upgrading with each new release is really not that expensive. I paid $630 for the iPad2 when that came out. I sold it for $400 last weekend. The new iPad will be $630 as well so I am "losing" $230 for the upgrade. Now, many iPad users skip a generation which means that their current device will lose even more value before they upgrade. $230 each year on a device that I use literally every day is a tiny price to pay to keep current on my technology. It's really the same price as buying a completely new device every 2.5yrs which is not so outrageous given the current rate of innovation. That being said, I can't think of any upgrade in a years time that would make me want to upgrade from this new iPad. It has addressed all of the iPad2 shortcomings, and then some.
