I am going to give my dad the stock 19's and see if they will fit on his 330 then im going to get some nice aftermarket forged wheels by dpe,jline,asanti ect.. havnt decided yet

I'm afraid I haven't, but I would be keen to know what sensible reasons there are for going with the 18" option, since I am not keen on the look of the 19" ones.

While I prefer 19s, 18s are less expensive, tires are less expensive, the ride is slightly better, rims are less vulnerable to potholes and handling just as good with only a tad less steering response. However, if you decide to go aftermarket, the 19s will be easier to sell.

Thanks for the response... So am i right in thinking that there is no significant performance disadvantage in going with the stock 18" rims then?

I've heard the pretty much exactly the same comment from a pro race car driver regarding the wheel choice (18" vs. 19") on another sports car on TV, but can't remember what care they were talking about...

I am not sure if I agree with you on the aftermarket thing though. There will be many E90 owners who will be dying to get their hands on either type of M3 wheels I think.

That is correct, no performance disadvantage. In fact, if you get serious about tracking you will find you will need to go to 18s to get a decent selection of R-Comp tires.

However, with the E46 M3 the rears had too much offset for the regular 3-series. I suspect it may be the same with the E92.

Why not just get the 18" wheels since you're giving them away? Would be a bit less expensive to start!

Do you really think the E92 M3 wheels will fit a normal 330?
