Extended Warranty with Endurance

Does anybody have any experience or feedback with the extended warranty offered through Endurance? The extended warranty product is called The TechChoice Ultimate Coverage, which is administered by Enterprise Financial Group, Inc. (EFG).

Any bad or good feedback and/or experiences with this extended warranty and/or companies would be much appreciated

1. It is with Enterprise Financial Group, through various brokers.
2. Does not take effect until after a 30 day waiting period and 1000 miles.
3. "Replacement parts may be of like kind and quality. This may include the use of new, remanufactured or used parts as determined by warranty company." - Commentary: seems as if they can put in a salvage motor with similar miles as the one gone bad. Would need to clarify this.
4. Need to maintain vehicle's recommended maintenance schedule.
5. A single engine claim cannot exceed $3,000 per occurrence. Total aggregate claims cannot exceed $7500. Commentary - a $2100 premium and a limit of $3k???
6. Leaking seals and gaskets are not Covered Parts.
7. Cannot "modify" vehicle in a way not recommended by manufacturer.

Put your $2k in the bank and self insure or buy a warranty with better coverage. You should be most concerned about something really expensive happening, which would be covered only up to $3k.

If your going to get any extended warranty I wouldn't go with anything else but the one offered by BMW. You still get your maintenance plan and should something have a snafu you'll still be getting OEM parts....

Roger that. I have mods on my car and do the occassional autocross event so having an extended warranty from a third party company is probably a mute point anyway.
