Question No ACC with Stop & Go?

Hello all. Great site and first bear with me.

I noticed on the available options that cruise control is offered but not the latest offering that's available on the E60 (ACC with Stop & Go). Is this something that's M specific or are there some other limiting factors why this isn't offered.

I realize that this cars purpose is to be driven but I forsee the occational highyway cruising. Thanks everyone!

Active cruise control has never been available on the M5 despite being available on the standard E60, so I can't forsee it being available on the E92 M3 anytime soon, even though it's available on the standard E92.
