Yes, they are!

I guess I should make it more clear as R4-S aren't known by some people!

FYI -- I ran these pads on my E36 M3's. They are a good pad for HPDE's etc. At the $149, it is a pretty damn good deal for what they are (a heavy use street pad/HPDE pad). If you don't plan to go fricken nuts at the track, these pads will work very nicely for ya! Bump for a good seller and product!

In my experience, they dust just a little less than most OEM pads, but the dust is pretty benign being very easy to clean off.

in my experience, all dust is very easy to clean off!
the only time it gets hard to take off is when you let it sit and bake into the rims in summer heat and hard braking!
So being easy to clean off isnt much of an advantage, as I find the original BMW pads to be "very easy to clean off"

The friction material is better than oem and will offer you better brake torque and shorter stopping distances as well.

Well, not for me. I'd clean an old PT Cruiser of mine once a week or so in temperate Ohio weather and that stuff would just cake on! Even scrubbing wouldn't get it off. Same problem with a Mitsu Eclipse I've owned in the past. My Lotus OEM pads had similar caking on characteristics. The Porterfield R4-S on that car improved braking performance and helped with the caking on of the dust ...

Perhaps anyone's relevant history with OEM BMW pads would be more helpful.

HP you never answered whether or not the pads significantly reduced brake dust.
