Gentleman, the day has finally arrived. Introducing the new challenge harness bar. Add racing harnesses to your car today without any major modifications!!!

The harness bar from Challenge allows for easy installation of a four point harness without forcing the M3 enthusiast to make any major permanent modifications to the car’s interior or drill any holes in the car’s chassis.

Challenge uses 1.75 OD x .095 wall thickness DOM seamless steel tubing and laser cut, precision formed brackets to construct the bar and finishes the piece in a high quality textured powder coat. The harness bar installs cleanly on the B pillar seemingly exiting the back side of the pillar cover maintaining as much interior as possible with minimal trimming for installation and removal. The kit includes all brackets and hardware necessary to complete installation, and install is an easy DIY process.

E90/E93 models are missing a key critical mounting point:

E90 and E93 models have a different configuration for OEM seatbelt mounting, this as this anchor point is not present.

I don't understand why you can't just supply another bracket that attaches to the outer rear seat bolt and just bolt the downtube to that.

Is the sedan and coupe the same width from side to side? Meaning, is would the crossbar be able to be mounted in a sedan?

The brackets on the B pillars, bar shape/size would all be a bit different from coupe to sedan. Unfortunately it has to be designed from the ground up. We still have a plan for a sedan version, but its just a matter of finding the time in the schedule at the moment.
