Had carfax on my car and it did not list half of the things BMW claims they have performed on my car. Still waiting for BMW to produce records of alleged services. Not sure whos full of it more carfax or BMW.

I agree it should be looked at and weighed accordingly but seriously, just spend the $30 and pull it yourself.

i had a car i sold that had all the airbags deployed and Carfax listed it as a minor accident with no airbag deployment. it was a 32k repair, pretty major imo.

One value of carfax is if you're looking for something special. If you get a monthly plan, you will get alerted when a car (you are interested in) changes registration. This helped me in searching for an M coupe.
