Question regarding swapping street and race pads

When should I swap the pads, and how should I do the bed-in?

Every time I change the pads (from street to race or vice versa), should I do a proper bed-in (6-8 times brake from 60 to 10mph etc)?

Or should I just drive the first couple laps rather slow and that'd be sufficient (first 2 laps of the day usually under yellow flag anyways)? Or should I change the pads a day or two before?

After the track day, I'm told to wait couple days to put back the street pads since the race pads will be pretty hard and clean the rotors. Is this correct?

Also, what do you guys do if you have 2-3 track days in a given month? Just leave the race pads all the time?

Thanks!

Since I do not drive my M3 as a DD that much, I do not change pads but twice a year. At the beginning of the season, Street to new track pads, then track pads back to street at the end of the season. Mid season, I may replace the track pads depending upon ware. And although my track pads are "race ready," I still bed them - a couple of times 80 to 20. When I change back to street pads, I bed them once or twice to introduce them back to the car.

If it is more than 3 weeks between events, I will switch back to my stock pads.
I leave the race pads on for 3-4 days after a track day in daily use of the car to have them remove deposits before placing the stock pads on. I they are squeaking, they are clean. No judder seen with my switches ( pagid yellows vs stock).
