Motion Control Systems (MCS) triple adj.

I am leaning heavily towards installing MCS triple adjustable on a dedicated track car. I know they are newer but would like any feedback that anyone may have.....particularly vendors. I hope to have a laundry list of items including the MCS triples. It would be nice if some vendors have a relationship with MCS.

We are an official dealer for MCS and have been talking to Lex even when he was over at Moton. One nice thing I like and most of my customers agree is that all their products are made in the USA. So replacement parts and customer service are top notch since they are readily available.

Over on Rennlist, Lex has a sterling reputation. I expect the MCS products to be top notch

MCS is definitely a "new" name but Jerome and Lex are known to be some of the most knowledgable guys in the suspension realm.

Definitely talk to the guys at VS Motorsports! They are very knowledgable with first hand race and track experience. I'm sure they'll be able to set you up with something.

MCS has been getting great reviews from the E46 M3, Porsche, and Viper guys. I imagine it to be amazing on the E9X M3 as well.

Lex used to be the face of Moton before it was bought out by AST. I have high hopes for MCS.

Not yet but I know there is a forum member who just picked up a set from us. Maybe he will post a review when he gets them on his car.

My shop installed the doubles on a 911 GT3 997.2. The car is completely transformed. We have the triples on order for my E46 M3 track build!

I road in a Porsche with race dampers from another competitive manufacturer. Before getting a ride in the car, I was set in my mind that it was going to be incredibly harsh with the high spring rates it had. We cruised around the streets of Chicago and the car felt SO MUCH more compliant that my E46 M3 with affordable street dampers and weak spring rates.

It was that moment that I realized that when people who have Motion Control Suspension or any other high end damper claim their cars to be very compliant and comfortable, it is very well possible if set up right. That's when I decided to start saving up to make the plunge for these dampers. Hopefully that day comes sooner than later.

There's a certain notion that probably originated in the 70's and 80's that says that "high performance suspension means harsh ride". It's not true at all and for a very simple reason: the purpose of the suspension is to maintain as even a pressure as possible on the tires in order to maximize grip. The other end of the suspension is attached to the chassis, so when the suspension is properly dialed in, the force on the chassis is even as well. Evenly applied force is perceived as a smooth ride. It can be stiff, but if the dampers are right, it shouldn't be harsh.

He will guide you in the right direction and prevent you from buying one set to only move onto a better setup down the road. Plus Eddie is an excellent driver and can setup/diagnose a suspension.

A bit of a drive for install and alignment changes. But Eddie is up at Pacific coaching many weekends and can drive your car and make the final rebound/Compression adjustments specific to your needs/track. Big advantage plus he has plenty of race exp. at Pacific.
