Hey fellow M3'ers -- I got pulled over in Fairfax County for going a little too fast, and now have a court date. Any recommendations for a good lawyer?

good point. You can say that you are running larger tires and didnt know the speedo does not automatically adjust etc and therefore you were running 10-15% off with the speedometer. i hope this is your first offense.

how fast were you going? I got a ticket few years ago and had to get a lawyer. The cop of course did not have me on radar.

20 over is reckless already, best way to deal with it is to hire a lawyer that is next to the court that has connections with the systems. Try Paul McGlone 703-273-2750, he helped me reduced an 85 on 55 reckless to a one point violation. I saw a few went to jail doing ranging 82 to 92 that day, dont risk it.

Yea get a lawyer if you are looking at a reckless. The police and court systems around here are a racket unfortunately... We the citizens really need to do something about it and reign these thugs in.

if only you were a county counsel member you could have been doing 105mph and gotten away with just a warning...

absolutely agree with you on the way reckless drivers are treated.

I used Stuart Sears of from John Zwerling's law firm. He got my reckless ticket dropped to an improper driving ticket. I posted their website below.
