H&R Vs RD sport

What do you guys prefer? I see alot of people running both. Im looking for the best drop without sacrificing the ride quality. I plan on putting the E36 bumpstops with either spring. Are they both 1" front .08" rear?

I did some research on that exact question and decided to go with RDSport on my E92 when it arrives. I almost posted this exact thread but just ended up searching around instead. From what I read, both setups seem to be quality, but RDSport is considered to be the slightly lower of the two. For me, I like the lower look and most people I read seemed happy with them.

Also tipping the decision in RDSport's favor (for my situation) is that the RDSport factory and HQ is only a few miles from me. Having them do the install is a big plus, especially if/when I add sways and other pieces in the future.

I don't think you can go wrong either way, though, especially when replacing the bumpstops (as I am as well).

I look forward to people with experience chiming in as well.

I was thinking the same thing so far just wanted to see if anyone favored H&R for any reason.

Im ording my RD sport springs soon also...I see a lot of people do this and I was just wondering...what is the reason and advantage of switching to E36 bumpstops??

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but the point of using the e36/e46 bumpstops is to retain the same spring travel so your not bottoming out. Lowering car = decreased travel, so to retain stock travel you need different bumpstops.

I use RD Sports with e46 M3 bumpstops and never bottom out, even on big highway dips at high speeds.

Thanks for the info... that makes sense. So I need to make sure to get me a set of E36 bumpstops too then.
