Is that with a front or rear wheel?
Thanks for taking pics/vid.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I suppose I would do a 12 mm spacer in this situation. StopTech recommends a minimum of 2 mm per their web site: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wheel_fitment.shtml
Front. Yes sir! Next weekend should be decent too, a little warmer perhaps.

Is there anyway you can test fit a rear oem 18" wheel? I wonder if no spacer would be needed with a 380mm kit and a square set of OEM 18" rear wheels

oh boy, 3mm is not a lot of clearance... i dont think i'd feel comfortable running such a set up. if your wheel gets just a little out of round from hitting a pothole or curb, you can ruin your BBK so easily....
my own personal wheels have been bent before after hitting a pothole but i was able to drive home and have the wheels repaired without worrying that my brakes were going to get ruined. but big props to richard for trying out this set up for the rest of us!

Everything is installed and there is plenty of clearance with a 10mm spacer. The picture you posted doesn't do it justice. It's really just the outer edge that sits close to the wheel. As you move inward, the barrel of the wheel moves further and further away from the caliper.
Now if it will only stay dry next week while I'm at laguna... |

I just got back from the track and want to report that the kit performed wonderfully. Laguna is hard on brakes, and I didn't have any issues pounding on them for 20 minutes at a time with R comps and full coilovers.
Props to Richard at M-world for test fitting them for me. Now that's customer service! |
