tlp's 2011 e92M3 ZCP SG/FR Euro Delivery

I thought I would take some time to share some of the highlights of my European Delivery on 3/29/2011 as I wait for final redelivery of my e92 M3.

Let me just start by saying that ED is the ONLY way to purchase a new BMW. Sure the wait may be longer but it's the experience and trip of a lifetime. The amount I saved on ED more than paid for my trip and the memories are priceless.

I would also like to thank Ryan Amico at Steve Thomas BMW. He has been a pleasure to deal with and the entire process was as smooth as silk with zero surprises. I would highly recommend Ryan.

Ok, let's get to the trip. In a nutshell it was tailored to pay homage to all of the great German auto manufactures.

Day 1 - Arrive in Frankfurt and Stay in Stuttgart
Day 2 - Visit the Porsche Museum, take in the sites around Stuttgart
Day 3 - Visit the Mercedes Museum
Day 4 - Arrive in Munich take in the Sites
Day 5 - Side trip to Inglostadt - Visit the Audi Museum/Forum
Day 6 - Munich, BMW Welt, ED, Museum, Factory Tour
Day 7 - Side Trip to Garching, visit the ///M Studio

I took approx 750 photos....I will focus primarily on BMW ED and M Content below.

Great pics. Great color combo. Great presentation by BMW. I agree with you that ED is a must. Wasn't offered when I bought my m3 ; (

This production has been long in the making.

I first starting talking to Ryan back in Nov., ordered in late Dec to take advantage of the $1,500 cash back & skirt the $500 msrp increase. Then we pushed out the production until March to take advantage of 6NR (BMW APPS).

No regrets at all!!!
