***Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #48: "Twilight"***

Official BimmerPost Photo Contest #48: "Twilight"

BACKGROUND:

For this contest, dress up like Edward Cullen… just jk

Wiki: Twilight is the time between dawn and sunrise or between sunset and dusk, during which sunlight scattering in the upper atmosphere illuminates the lower atmosphere, and the surface of the earth is neither completely lit nor completely dark. The sun itself is not directly visible because it is below the horizon.

THEME:

I’d like to see some shots taken during twilight time of day.. Beaches, buildings, trees, lakes etc.. pretty much any photo taken during that time, that actually shows it was taken during that time.

Good luck!

Examples (not my photos):

I'm offering one you've seen before, but is the only shot that I can find that fits the theme.

Snake River Gorge, Twin Falls, Idaho

I've been to Twin Falls now, and that picture has so much more meaning now... it's a neat geographical feature in Idaho

That's the golf course in the picture right? So that puts you under that bridge?

Yes, it's a golf course. I took the photo from an observation platform just downstream from the bridge. There are several observation platforms that stick out over the gorge and a path that runs beside the gorge near the Outback Steakhouse. I read that the bridge is a popular place for bungee jumping.

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

My new T3i is on it's way and I leave for Vegas Friday evening then Denver starting on Sunday! Between those two places and my new camera I'm hoping I can get a decent picture to contribute.
