I just installed the key hole cover and opted to keep the cylinder. It took a little work to get the cover to fit.

I don't think you could get the cover off without breaking the clips that hold it in place... it was a pretty snug fit.

What is the appeal of this mod?

So OP did it once..had an issue..did it again had a bigger issue..at least he wont do a third time..hopefully
