I am in the market for a tune and I like Gintani (I have a Gintani muffler box and highly recommend it), but the quoted group buy price of $999 does not seem very competitive to me.

This is the same as the everyday price of Mike Benvo@ BPM, who is very highly reviewed on this forum.

Is there a reason the Gintan tune is better etc., can you help make this clear?

Thanks.

Hi Candide,

Thank you for your interest in our tune.

We have been developing our tune for many years and we price our tunes by how much we think they are worth not necessarily just to be competitive with other tuners.

Every tuner has their own way of tuning so we are unable to say why our tune would be better than "X"'s tune but we take great care with every tune and have many happy customers all over the world.

Here is a recent review and video post of our tune from one of our customers:

I've been running this tune for a few months now & have to say it has been perfect. Nothing bad to say about it. Drives smooth (the car is my daily), cold start delete is a nice option, and love the 8600 rpm redline. The car is a monster compared to stock. When I was in the market for a tune, I wanted power. If you want to be one of the faster NA S65 M3's out there, I recommend Gintani's tune. I have yet to come across a faster NA E9X M3 in my area, so I feel I made the right choice with this tune.

Candide, you will get what you pay for with this tune. I'm sure BPM has a great tune, but that being said, I have raced a BPM tuned car & I'm sure you can figure the outcome based on my review of Gintani's tune above.

Interesting. Price is about $250 too steep for me though as I'll be tempted to reseach compare and contrast then just wind up not buying anything. So it goes.
