Bushleague Basketball

This us just disgusting "basketball."
The coaches are just as much to blame for keeping the thug in the game.

I just saw the video. Some of those did not look like big fouls to me? More like the guy just sucking and having slow reaction time. If its like anything from when I went to HS, to me it just seems like that guy is a football player or wrestler, but because he is big, they let him on any team. I had a couple of friends who were on the basketball team that never played before, but because they had athletic talent, they played on it. Of course, this guy looks like he has no talent at all. He just looks fat and has more of a beard then I do at 21.

I do not play basketball, but it is legal to block the person the way the little guy did to protect his teamate? The big guy looks like he is chasing after the ball after it got loose, and the little guy just stops and blocks him. With the momentum, I am not surprised the big guy runs over him and pushes him. Its basically like the little guy clotheslined the big guy.

The first foul i understand. I believe you can only raise your hands to block a shot. He tries to swat at the ball and misses and hits the guy instead. Still, I just see that as a foul.

The second foul doesn't seem like a foul to me at all. The defender attempted to take the ball away, and the guy seems to fall over.

Anyways, what I really hate is that the guy has no class whatsoever. Seriously, he laughs it off. He should have been expelled from the game. Big fatty sucks at sports and is just using his weight to bully others. Not fair play or fun play at all.

BTW, some of those kids need to chill out. You can see them clapping at the ref for making a bad decision. The other kid spikes the ball and gets into rage mode when the ref cals the foul. I understand bad refs, I have had them plenty of time, but you still need to respect. After the game report them, but whining and crying during a game won't do u much.

Edit: on #6 I didn't see any foul. Seems like the big guy just did a clean shoulder to shoulder with the little guy, but he lost momentum in the air and fell down.

Please don't bash me, I don't know the rules of basketball really.

I only see two flagrant fouls and a bunch of hard fouls that shouldn't be considered flagrant per se, but someone should beat fatty's ass regardless.

judging by the lack of black talent on the floor...i'm assuming this is some rural backwoods small town in Wisconsin. had this been in a more urban setting.....fatty would've been laid out faster than a Reality Kings casting couch tramp.

Whoever is defending this is pretty stupid... There are more than 2 flagrant fouls in there. #34 is a fucking joke. Those refs can't be serious. Good for the team in red for maintaining their composure and not retaliating. We had some shit like this happen at one of our HS basketball games and 2 parents and a player went to the hospital after a brawl broke out after the game was over.

It's the refs job to protect the players. He should have thrown #34 out of the game after he did that wonderful Bynum impression.

I saw two flagrants and other "hard" personal fouls. The fouls when viewed alone play out that way.

However, given the fact that is was the same dude mostly, and in the same game, the refs absolutely did the wrong thing by allowing him to continue playing. Also, the coach of that fatty mcbutterpants should be taking a whole lot of flak. He should be fired, no questions asked. This is not how KIDS should be taught to play.

It's HS. The coach was probably also the football team coach. You can tell by the size of the players that finesse was not part of their strategy.

Sarcasm or Stupidity...

You do not teach young players to play like that... if you think differently than you are a moron... (Jason, I don't care if you get at me for this one. Another case of an ignorant person supporting bad behavior)

I played ball all the way up through freshman year of high school. Some def deserved at least a T. And on in particular def should have been an ejection. Others were just hard fouls.

#1 was a hard foul and a bit of a swing, but I'd let that slide for the first one.

#2 while he did take him and give him a shove out of bounds, meh whatever. Nothing to serious.

#3 could be a T cause he clearly didn't go for the ball. If I was the kid that got hit. I would have got back up and atleast exchanged some words with him.

#4 that should def a T when you make it that obvious. And #24 that took a shot to the head in #3, did retaliate a little bit, he really should have talked shit then, personally.

#5. Automatic ejection. That Bynum foul was uncalled for. And that is where I would swing. For all the shoving and stuff to go on all game and then that. A fist would have been swung especially after fatty has that shit eating grin on his face while the free throw is being taken. At least give him a taste of his own medicine back down the floor.

#6 foul was just a hard over the back foul, no harm there, IMO.

I have to commend the maroon team for keeping their heads together and not retaliating. But when I played any big dude or anybody for that matter who was trying to throw their weight around. I would push and shove right back with them.

White team was clearly either not caring or just trying to scare them out of the gym and for those 6 clips it didn't look like it was working.
