Chris from HPF sent me a file, their car hit the dragstrip and ran a 10.1 145MPH. Chris also ran the Vbox and hit a 5.12s 60-130! This HPF M3 is 4 second car for sure, that is flat out moving!

The 5.12s run was on a pefectly flat road with 1 shift, excellent job Chris and HPF.



Here's another program I use as well at perfdb.com, many here have used it too.

It reads the run in x.xxx, it does not round up the 3rd # like Performance of driftbox tools does, very cool program that anyone can use to get a quick look or validation of their run.

Hi there, quick update. I ran 11.2098 @ 127.3 mph at ODI Raceway, 4000ft above sea-level. I don't know why Drag times is showing as a track in the USA. DA was close to 4500ft. I think we should include DA in these lists as it makes a massive difference. This is what I ran at 7000+ DA at Tarlton, my best time there was 11.6 @ 125mph, but the traction was much better at Tarlton. But you can feel the added power going down 2000ft at ODI.



I don't have a video of the 1/4 mile runs ODI, but I have a video of the standing 1km run (0.6 miles) where I did a best of 170mph. This is is a run where I did a slightly slower speed as I sat on the rev limiter for quite a while (traction is an issue):



Hoping to run at sea-level soon.

Agreed, DA is a huge factor, I think it's a great idea, and I will add that to the entries. What tires were you running?

DA plays a big roll in the 1/4 I think everyone should post theirs !
It will give people a good idea what to expect out of their cars when runing at different tracks and when comparing also !

Just look at my runs with the 625 in 6mt trapping 126.6 mph DA played a big roll in that ..

I have Ess 575kit, fabspeed hfc and xpipe, so I should be around 600bhp. Car is manual, tires are 285 conti 5p's. The track is very crappy (bitburg germany), and most people run .4-.6 slower than on a good track.... I dunno what's going on, why i'm I so slow? This is my first time with M3 to a drag strip, and it certainly takes getting used to launching it, but 13.1 at 110(2.3 60ft)????!!!!! Even if I spin, shouldn't I trap a lot higher??? I was running mix of euro 98 and 102 (like 94/95 US). My buddy in stock C5 Z06 ran the same.

My biggest problem was getting the car not to spin so much... 1st was spinning past 5k rpm (launched at 2.5rpm), second somewhat hooked, and then all shifts like a clock.

ran 13.4 at 109, 13.3 at 109 and 13.1 at 110(about 2.3-2.4 60ft)... I expected the trap to be at least 120mph...

Is this normal? what am I missing?
