Help- can't drive my new m3!

Traded in my 2007 e92 335 for 2008 e93 M3 last week. It is incredible and I spend plenty of time admiring and detailing it but I just can't get myself to drive it and get it dirty (especially since too cold here to wash frequently). I drove it about 200 miles 1st few days but haven't driven it at all in past week. Looking forward to taking to work tomorrow though.

Mods so far:
-oem edition kidney grilles (got the side gills too but haven't installed yet)
-jl motoring carbon fiber spoiler
-35% pinnacle f1 tint
-next looking for set of 19" wheels--any suggestions? (thinking about matte black avant garde 310 or bbs ch-r)

Sorry for the poor quality iphone pics. Last pic is old car in front and new in back at the dealer.

Congrats on the car. Don't be a pussy. Drive it, get it dirty, wash it. Repeat.

I hear ya. I bought mine 3 weeks ago and haven't stepped foot in mine since the day I drove it home from Seattle. Car needs to be at my Z4MC level before I will drive it. Its been like that with me and cars since 1991.

In your situation I would drive it. Wash and repeat...

I live in Northern Virginia as well and as long as the temperature is above 32 degrees then you can wash it! And so far no snow on the ground so go ahead and drive it! I'll look for you on the road.....

That's a shame. You should be driving your car more. I live in Northern VA as well and drive mine everyday unless it's snowing. I have a jeep for that.

Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? It's not a Ferrari. Go drive it!!! Just make up some random crap to do.

The other day I decided to visit a lighting store. LIGHTING! Who goes browsing for lights without the intention to buy? Anyway it was the drive that mattered.

I've only driven my 2011 M3 coupe once. I got a little nick from a rock on the front right of the hood and I swore that I would never make that mistake again. Now I just keep the dust off it and put tire shine on the tires. I will drive my old Honda Accord instead.

Drive that shit! Its gonna get dirty but then it will be fun washing it

Cold isnt anything! I drive my car unless the snow and ice are crazy. This was me going through Vail on the way to MFest last year.

BTW, was that your 335 on M6 reps in the last pict? I ask because I had a black E92 335i on M6 reps before I traded up to an MR M3 as well.

I came in this thread thinking the dealer is holding your car. Not what I expected. Get the hell off here and go drive

Thanks everyone for the good advice, pep talks, and laughs. Drove the m3 to work today and was awesome. Got some space heaters for the garage to let me keep it clean over the winter.
