Multi Quote Notification Issue

For some reason when someone multiquotes you in a thread with other people's comments; the notification bar does not display that someone has responded to your comment. It seem that the only way you will receive a notification is if your comment is the only one responded to by that particular person. This is rather annoying and I am sure it's an easy fix to get a notification message in this instance.
