how much do they generally charge?

I'm at about 12 or so (maybe more? I lost count) track days, a little over 11k miles.
Never changed it except for the 1200 mi service.

Blackstone has a great reputation in the aviation community. I use send them a sample at every oil change on my airplane and get great reports. I don't bother with the cars personally but if you really want to monitor your wear metals and oil contamination, I think they would be a good choice.

My rule is every two track days, which equates to every 10 hours of track time.

Damn that's hardcore

I doubt I'll feel a difference though after an oil change

Blackstone and other UOA labs provide good info. on the condition of the oil so that you know if your can extend your OCI longer. Blackstone has confirmed that BMW 15K OCIs are just fine and the UOA in their database show that the oil is still good for further service at 15K miles per BMW's CBS OCIs.
