Would you ever Wire money to someone?

So Artz 330 is trying to help me find a car. He has his dealer license so he can find pretty good deals. The thing is I would have to wire him the money for him to place a bid on the car because you have the pay the same day if you buy a car at an auction. So I would need to wire him X amount for his to get the car....I think thats a lot of money to send to someone you haven't met. But he does have a good rep on the forums and sent me proof of everything including his dealer license...What do you guys think...

Let him help you find it... and then you talk to the dealership directly and handle the money through them. Then send him a nice bottle of something as a thanks for the help.

P.S. I am a Nigerian Prince and I also deal with a lot of investors who only want to go through me. For $500,000 I can give you a return tomorrow that will have you set for life...

and if he puts up resistance into using an escrow account, or other means of secure money transfer, then tries to assure you that he is legit etc, that would be a red flag to me.

Also, since you are looking for forum member feedback on him, why not search his name "Artz 330" on here, or google (ex Artz 330 + bimmerpost, e90post, etc) and see how many posts he has and how people have responded to him, etc.

Depends on the situation and the person. Do your research on the person you are working with and make sure everything is legit. Not everyone is out to scam (although many are) I recently wired 10 grand as part of a down payment and had zero issues got everything I paid for a short time later.

You could always Google their full name. What comes up from it will show you about their character, good or bad.
