winter tires only or Tire+wheel package??

Ok, this is a bit naive.. but I am new in this arena. Just ordered an E92 coupe with Competition package, and previously I only drove SUV's. and I live near Chicago.

Should I buy just winter tires alone, or tire+wheel package? I searched around for an hour or so in this forum, but didnt get a decent answer.

I have a decent idea on what to buy, based on the threads here. But just not sure if I should invest in a set of wheels as well as tires..

Appreciate any input...

Yes definitely get wheels as well. It's not good for the tires to constantly get mounted/dismounted twice a year. Besides, a decent wheel set can cost less than the actual tires.

^^^This. I don't think any of us are dismounting our tires off of the OEM wheels twice a year. Besides, it's your excuse/free pass to buy some new wheels! It might be your first bite from the mod bug too.

GL with deciding which wheels to go with. There are LOTS of options.
